Rewards

A daily SHADE pot shared by trading volume, and the Silent Night season pass.

Every taker trade on the Public Book counts toward each day's SHADE pot. On top of that, the Season Pass turns trading into a game, with levels, streaks and quests.

The daily pot isn't live yet. Until it opens, the Rewards page runs the season without a pot, so you can see how it works.

The daily pot

  • Each UTC day has a pot of SHADE, the same size every day. The Rewards page shows how big it is.
  • The pot is split between that day's traders by their share of the day's trading volume, in dollars. Trade a tenth of the day's volume and you get a tenth of the pot.
  • Once the pot is live, each day's payouts are planned to go straight to the wallet that traded, with nothing to claim.
  • Taker volume counts: swaps, each queued swap a batch fills, and fired stops. Makers' fills don't count.

Everything is worked out from what the order book contract records, so every visitor sees the same standings. Private Book and Dark Pool trades record no trader, so they don't count.

Season 1: Silent Night

Silent Night runs for 60 days, through Christmas and New Year. Its Season Pass is an advent calendar: each door is a level, and it opens when you reach it.

How you earn XPXP
Trading on a day100
Each day in a row after the first20 more a day, up to 200 more
Every $5 traded1, up to 300 a day
Daily questsShown on the page, reset at midnight UTC

A level takes 800 XP, up to level 50. Volume is capped each day so size alone can't buy levels: trading every day is what gets you to the top.

Levels unlock art for your player card, which you can save as an image, and show on the leaderboard. They don't change how much of the pot you get.

The leaderboard

The Rewards page lists today's traders by volume, with each one's share of today's pot so far, and the season's leaders.
