SHADE
Launch or list a token
Create a coin that trades from its first block, or open a market for one you have.
Launch a new token
Creators in the side menu, then Create meme coin, creates a token and its market in one transaction. The token trades from its first block.
- Name your coin. A name, a symbol and an image, which is what people see in lists, search and on its page. Website and social links are optional.
- Set the price. Pick the quote token for its market, such as SHADE or USDM, then drag the sale's range on the chart: the sale opens at the left end and sells out at the right, priced as the token's market cap. Small, Standard and Big presets start at $5,000, $10,000 and $50,000 and sell out at 50 to 100 times that.
- Choose the supply (one million, one billion or one trillion) and how much you keep, up to half. The rest goes on sale. Launched tokens have 6 decimals, like NIGHT.
- Launch. Your wallet proves one transaction that mints the token, lists it and opens its market.
The supply for sale goes on the book as auto-flip liquidity with a 2% step, in up to 8 price pools. As buyers move up the range, each pool that sells lists a buy 2% lower, so the market has depth both ways from the start. The liquidity is yours, and you can withdraw it at any time: nothing is locked.
Moon Moth (MOTH) was launched this way, priced in SHADE.
Create a token without a market
To mint a token and open its market later (or let someone else open one), create it on its own: it's minted to you and listed by name, with no market.
List a token you already have
Creators, then Import token, opens a market for a token that already exists on Midnight, and can add its first liquidity in the same step. Anyone can list a token and open a market for it, once per pair. The market's minimum order is set when it opens. Until Nightshade reviews an imported token, its page warns that it isn't verified.
If a pair is opened with an unusable minimum, or a token is listed with the wrong decimals, Nightshade's admin can repair it: the market is reset, and every order in it can still be withdrawn in full.
Fees
Every launched token's market pays the same taker fee as every other pair.
