The SHADE token
What SHADE is for, and where it trades.
SHADE is Nightshade's token. It's a public token on Midnight, it trades on Nightshade like any other, and its private twin is sSHADE.
What it's for
- Rewards. Each day's rewards pot is paid in SHADE to that day's traders.
- A quote token. Markets can be priced in SHADE, as MOTH/SHADE is, so trading them is trading against SHADE.
SHADE isn't needed to pay fees: Midnight's fees are paid in DUST.

How it's issued
SHADE's whole supply, 100,000,000 SHADE, is minted once, by the sale contract, when the sale is set up. Nobody can mint more.
